I'm Aahan. I'm learning to build things for the web.
I teach myself to code, mostly at night, with too many tabs open. HTML, CSS and Python so far. I break things on purpose to see how they work, then spend an hour fixing them.
About
I started because I wanted to know how a website actually gets from someone's head onto a screen. That turned into making small pages, then small scripts, and now I can't stop.
I'm not an expert at anything yet. This page is where I keep what I've made so I can look back and see how far it's come.
Where I am right now
- HTML and CSS - The part I'm most comfortable with. Layout with flexbox and grid, and I've started on animations.
- Python - Small scripts and calling APIs. Classes are the thing I'm working on now.
- Git - Commit, branch, merge. I still look up how to undo things.
- JavaScript - Just started. Mostly poking at the DOM.
Things I've made
- Personal blog (2026, HTML, CSS) - Hand-written HTML and CSS, no framework. Where I write down what I'm learning. Fixed a lot of margin problems along the way.
- Weather script (2026, Python, APIs) - Pulls weather data from an API and prints it neatly in the terminal. My first real Python project. Not pretty, but it works.
- CSS experiments (2026, CSS) - Gradients, clip-paths and animations, with no image files, to see how far plain CSS goes.
If you have feedback on my code, an idea to build together, or just want to talk about this stuff, email me: aahan.patel@gmail.com
